Welcome. I'm Huey Hoss Mack and I am very humbled to serve as your sheriff Since 2007. Being your Sheriff is definitely the high point of my 28 year career in law enforcement. I look forward to continuing my service to you as your Sheriff for the next four years. I truly believe we have a great sheriffs office and help people everyday. I have striven to improve the way the sheriffs office works in many ways but I am most proud of how we have reached out to our communities and children through various programs.
Our deputies on campus, Camp Shining Star, school resource officer and explorer scout programs have touched the lives of thousands of youth in Baldwin County. Our improved technology as well as the community corrections programs have filled gaps in an ever troublesome incarceration system within our state, providing responsible alternatives and meaningful rehabilitation programs. I believe every Sheriff owes it to their community to be knowledgeable and informed as to what is going on. By doing this a Sheriff can be proactive, increase safety and security and reduce crime. Thank you for the honor of allowing me to serve as your Sheriff for another 4 years.
